Kong - dog toys

The Kong is famous and such a simple and effective toy for dogs. What we, at Tuffies, find (having used Kongs for at least the last six years) is that if you stuff the Kong with cheap mince and perhaps bury some biscuits in there as well AND THEN FREEZE the Kong, the dogs are busy getting out the delights for a good while. This is perfect for training the dog to be left alone (in the cage, house or kennel) because as you leave him, he gets this great toy and by the time it's empty he has forgotten he is alone and quite frankly ready for a sleep.
Obviously it is a perfect distraction for a dog that may otherwise use its teeth on the lovely Tuffie bed!!!!!
For teething puppies, the Puppy Kong, cold straight from the freezer, cools and soothes the wobbly teeth and itchy gums during change of teeth.
