THE WOVEN TUFFIES DOG BED

This is definitely the most popular of our waterproof beds. With its pleasantly textured and VERY strong nylon surface, this material has a 100% waterproof backing so cleaning is just a matter of hosing down and about 45 minutes air-drying of the surface. In fact, many customers tell us that a little brush-down or vacuum-cleaning is all they do on a daily basis because dirt and hairs simply dry up and fall away.
The Woven Tuffies Dog Bed is made from the strongest existing material in the market place today and while many, usually bed-chewing dogs won't bother with the Tuffie, we MUST stress that of course ANYTHING that you can cut with scissors is chewable to a keen dog! For really badly chewing dogs, please refer to our "Really Tough Tuffie" further down this page.
You may choose to have an eyelet in the corner (free of charge) of your Tuffie to hang it up or to anchor it down. But beware: potentially chewing dogs may not be able to resist such a thing.

THE WIPE CLEAN TUFFIES DOG BED

This waterproof material has a very smooth surface, which feels a bit like a waxed jacket. To clean this Tuffie you can either hose it down and towel it dry or you can simply use a damp cloth and a spray-on cleaner to wipe it over in seconds where it sits.

If you have an old, incontinent dog, this bed is the ideal alternative to the constant bed washing: a wipe over in the morning is all you need to do to keep things fresh.

THE REALLY TOUGH TUFFIE

The long awaited chewproof dog bed from Tuffies. Dogs that continually destroy their bedding by chewing can now have a safe, soft, warm dog bed. The clever design means that the dogs can't get hold of the soft fabric in the middle and can't grab the plastic surround. In time, years, you may want to fit a new fabric inner, which you can do your self. Hence the bed will last years and years.

THE WICKING TUFFIE COVER

This optional extra cover is exceptionally useful for the wet winter dogs. It is a highly technical "spacing fabric": Two strong honey-comb open-weave polyester fabrics sandwich a strong, very open spacing material that does not flatten. When your wet dog goes on his Tuffie with the Wicking cover on, the water runs off the dog, quickly through the cover and leaves the dog "high and dry". The water will evaporate from the waterproof Tuffie in its own time. The Tuffie stuffing is dry and your dog is dry. The cover is perfect for the wet autumn and winter days. Fantastically easy to wash and dry.

THE FLUFFIE TUFFIE COVER

The "Fluffie Tuffie" is an 80% wool cover ON ITS OWN. We are talking extreme dog bed luxury here!! With the super padded, waterproof Tuffie dog bed inside(see above on this page) and this woollen cover around it, it's as plush as it gets. This fabric, with its tight pile, is of the highest upholstery quality designed for seats in aircrafts and public transport, hence made with durability and comfort in mind. Machine washable, but takes its time to dry!
This is basically like giving your dog it's own sofa....
