Dog Beds at the Scottish Gamefair.
This year we are selling dog beds for the 20th year at Scone Gamefair. The gamefair has several names among folk and is officially “The Scottish Gamefair”. Originally The Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust ran the gamefair. This set the scene for all things countryside which is about shooting and the conservation of our natural environment. In the main ring everything from terrier racing to highland ponies for deer extraction to fabulous horses are showing their skills. The hound packs are a great attraction and especially the friendliness of these dogs. The masters of the hound packs always invite the public into the ring to say hello to these large dogs. They are surprisingly big and super friendly.
Our stand is near the Scurry Ring and we are sponsors. Keen competitors enter their dogs to see who can fetch dummies the fastest when the official fires a starter gun. So if YOUR dog is the fastest you will win a Tuffies dog bed! Every year we offer a bed for the winner of each day.
Raffle.
At The Scottish Gamefair this year (2025 is Tuffies’ 25th anniversary) we also offer one of our Nests with a Tuffies Tartan Cover as a raffle prize at the stand. Come to our stand and enter the raffle for free. You will see us from the scurry ring. Just leave your name and phone number and we will draw the winner on Monday 7th July.
You can take a Tuffies Mattress bed with you home if you want to buy at the show. However, for convenience we are happy to take your order and send the bed to your door. That way you will not need to carry it to your car.
We will have ALL our dog beds on display. If you want to feel the beds or discuss how they are made, we can explain. If you want to know why they work so well for your dogs, we are there to fill you in with any info.
